Fertility consultation:
Before your visit, you will be asked to complete a registration form to give us baseline information about you and your partner.
Your first fertility consultation could either be physical or virtual. At your fertility appointment, you will meet with a fertility doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating infertility. Our fertility expert will take their time getting to know you and your partner, asking questions about your:
- Lifestyle
- Menstrual cycles
- Attempts to become pregnant
- Past pregnancy history
- Prior birth control methods
- Prior sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or surgeries
- Any other medical issues that could affect your fertility
Fertility Assessment
Your fertility work-up will include the following:
- Pelvic/transvaginal ultrasound.
- Baseline fertility tests, such as blood work to measure hormone levels and ultrasound and/or radiographic imaging of the reproductive organs
- semen analysis for the male partner to evaluate the quantity and health of sperm
- Hycosy/Aqua
